W e love cosy winter weddings. We can really go to town with the theming. One of our favourite themes is Nordic. For this, we use logs built up in the middle of the table and decorate them with twinkly lights, holly, berries, pine cones and some fern. This design can be used to decorate the drinks bar, fireplaces and around the walls. Finger food is placed on bark in the middle of the table for the starters, followed by a plated main and mini desserts. It’s guaranteed to be jaw-dropping.

Sharing Starters

Beetroot borscht soup sips, gravadlax, capers and sour cream on rye bread, Scotch quail’s eggs, devilled nuts, roll mop herrings, Swedish meatballs, Greve cheese and chutney on crispbread.

Main Course

Slow roast rib of beef in a mulled gravy, with spiced red cabbage, buttery carrots, served with Jansson’s potato temptation and mulled gravy.


Christmas ginger cookies topped with kirsch cherry cream, apple cake with vanilla mascarpone, coconut rice pudding pots with spiced berries.

Late Snacks

Brie and cranberry pots with crispbread dips.

Mini hot Baileys chocolate topped with marshmallows and brownie biscuits.


Warm mulled apple cider.

Kir Royale.
