We are finally back from our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. We are still on a high after our wedding - it was such a fantastic day and we couldn't have wished for better.

We would like to thank you and your colleagues at Penni Black for helping to make our day do special. The food was absolutely gorgeous and all our guests commented on the quality of the food for the wedding meal and the buffet in the evening. We were also very impressed with the service of all the waiters and waitresses and they ensured that the day ran smoothly at all times. Sandi was also fantastic.

Georgie & Stephens' Wedding Reception at St Wilfred's Hall, London (February 2011)

Dear Chloe,

I hope you are well. We wanted to email and say a huge thank you to all the staff that were involved in making our wedding reception such a success. The food was delicious and we had many comments to this effect. The bar staff were excellent - no one saw the bottom of their glass and we even had to go out and buy more champagne as we had run out of the 60 bottles we had ordered by 6pm!

If you could please pass on our thanks to all involved, we would be most appreciative. We would also like to thank you for all the organising that went into it. We had such a lovely day and the professionalism of all the staff, their ability to put up with an abundant of children running all over the place combined with the delicious and beautifully presented food, contributed hugely to a most enjoyable reception for both of us and all our family and friends. Hello Hannah,

I felt the day went really well and that the contribution of you and your team was a very large factor in the success of it. The food itself was subject to huge praise including my uncle who is used to going to very smart weddings describing it as 'The best wedding food he had ever had' and I can only agree. I can't believe how you managed to produce such well cooked steaks for so many people out of a temporary kitchen.

The staff were all very helpful and courteous and perhaps the biggest compliment was that I didn't really notice them but was conscious that I was never wondering where a waiter(ess) was because my glass was empty.

Many thanks again for all your help and best of luck with the future with Penni black. I will be in touch when we have our next party!

Engel-Davis Wedding at Parkstead House (July 2010)

Dear Chloe,

Thank you for the wonderful food and drink, the beautiful tablecloths and napkins, crockery and cutlery and for organising the hire of the tables and chairs and moving them up and down the stairs so efficiently.

All our guests have commented on how delicious the food was, how refreshing the cocktails were and also how helpful and kind all your staff were. Please thank them all for me. Even at the end of the evening, when the band had packed up, the guests gone, your staff were helping me pack up cake, carrying stuff to the car for me etc... they were wonderful and I really appreciated not only their help, but the cheerful smiles and the impression they gave that nothing was too much trouble. Your chef even cooked a special meal for a celiac cousin while she waited!

It was such a shame that you weren't there, you did so much to ensure that we all had such a happy day.

Hi Hannah,

Thank you SO much for all your and the team's hard work on the actual day and in the run up to it. For us it seemed like it went even better than we could ever have dreamt it could ever have and we and everybody else had the BEST time! The food was totally gorgeous and I think the beer went down very well too! Only about 3 days later did we discover you magic-ed up a plate of pasta for my cousin - completely brilliant! Lots of people have said how lovely the food was and how good and quick your staff were with both Champagne and with dinner!

I would have sent a thank you card to you and the team but I don't think it would ever arrive given the state of the post so am reverting to the less nice, but efficient email!

Anyhow, if I don't speak to you again, I will be singing your praises should anybody be looking for a caterer and thanks so very much once again for making our dream day come true!

We are dazed and amazed by our fabulous wedding day full of happiness and so much fun surrounded by our closest friends and family. We have received so many compliments on your delicious canapés, everything was so perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Each canapé had a 'Wow' factor in flavour and presentation and the way you dressed the trays with the tropical flowers to match our own floral decorations was stunning!

You can be very proud of your staff - they really are an 'A' team - nothing was too much trouble for them, they served with such style and grace and my Mum got her cup of tea just as you said she would! It seemed to me that everything happened so effortlessly - everyone had plenty of everything - the champagne flowed and the cake was cut and beautifully served at just the right time. I'm sure that this can only be achieved by your own skills in catering and lovely cooking, which you obviously do enjoy to produce such results.

I hope that you receive more clients from friends who were there and we will certainly be recommending you.

Ruth and Russell's Wedding

Dear Charlotte

Just back from the honeymoon and wanted to get in touch straightaway and say how absolutely fantastic our food was on the big day. Everybody raved about it, taste and presentation-wise. The canapés were so special and my fellow veggies were most impressed with our main course, as were the chicken eaters. (The buffet in the evening was so popular that by the time I got to it there wasn't a morsel left!)

I am sorry I didn't get to talk to you at the time - all a bit hectic - but thank you a million times over for making our day so special and being so organised as well, I didn't have to worry about a thing in the build up or on the day. You were so obliging, helpful and understanding! We don't do a lot of events that call for caterers (sadly) but you will be top of our list when we do, and we won't hesitate to recommend you. (And if you want to use any of this message on your website, or for me to do a line for that, I would be delighted.)

So thank you again, you helped bring our dream wedding to life!
